We attempted to use a "$100 gift card" to try out Google Ad Words. We additionally gave them our credit card to use $50 on our own money just to give it a shot. Nolan Abbenhaus of Google Ad Words sent us an email noting that he had changed the settings in our account. We didn't know that meant that he had signed us up to pay EVERY MONTH. We have called American Express to resolve this issue and have additionally filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB); however, when we spoke with Google Ad Words employee Ben at the Ann Arbor Call Center we were told that, "I don't know why you need to speak with a supervisor, I've explained to you why you have to pay." Really? Gotta love customer service!! DO NO SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING WITH GOOGLE AD WORDS AND GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, THEY WILL FRAUDULENTLY CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU UNTIL YOU cancel your credit card!!!! |
